The steel plate is connected to a concrete foundation using threaded rod anchors. The concrete foundation has a depth of approximately 12 feet (3.7 m). The lateral distance from one anchor to the other is approximately 4 feet (1.2 m). The purpose of this project is to design the steel plate so that it can be installed with an overall height of 12 feet (3.7 m). The top surface of the steel plate will be parallel to a horizontal plane at a distance of 0.75 feet (0.23 m) from the edge of the foundation wall and has a width of 10 inches (25 cm). It will be marked in such a way that its length can be measured using two parallel planes which are separated by 3 inches (8 cm).
